Ezuko:Matriarch of Death 13

The professor and I returned to the school and told the others what had happened…needless to say they were not shocked, it was obvious we were all expecting this to happen but didn’t know when, the thing that DID shock them however was how humanlike the alien being was. The professor asked the others how the tests were going and Professor Karusawa told him they hadn’t found anything strange yet, I asked them what they were trying to find and all the professor would tell me was “a connection” which told me little of what he was actually having them do. The professor and I found a TV in a nearby room and wheeled it into the lab so we could connect it and see what was happening with the creature on the news, almost as soon as we turned on the TV their was news of the creature, a local news station was following the beast and her allies as they leveled the block…the military had sent in air support and were bombing the creatures…apparently the council had finally decided to pass the right to attack the creatures after their final assault on General Sho and his crew, how typical of the government. We watched as the Curios’ quickly caught up to the jets destroying them with a single unified blast, the speed of these creatures was amazing…the female creature on the other hand simply hovered  there directing the Curious’ attacks, it was as if she was a brutal dictator simply directing the death and washing her hands of it as if innocent, if you tried to focus on the female beast it almost appeared as if she was smirking. It was only a small amount of time before the creature would find her way to the school…we needed to work quick at this point, but I believe we were no way near being prepared for whatever chaos was to come. The professor’s kept their eye on the television as they worked, Professor Karusawa focused on their investigation of the strange rock like metallic laced remain of the ship and  Professor Carter studied my blood to see if any connection could be found as to why it activated the meteor-like ship on contact, the destruction was immense as the creatures made their way through the city leaving everyone to wonder what they were after and earning the news crew’s their biggest story in years. The news reports were interrupted for an announcement from High General Hige. He spoke in a strong and confident voice “This is high general Hige Katsura, I am speaking to all from the Diet Building, we are faced with a crisis…one that couldn’t have been foreseen, as of now Japan is officially under “Martial Law” as we try and face the situation before us, we are requesting all civilians to evacuate the local area’s to the nearest shelters as to limit the loss of civilian lives. We are planning to launch an air strike on our foe’s so we will have the situation under control as soon as possible” after that was said all that could be heard was the roar of the media and their questions, all of which the high general ignored as he walked off stage, it was clear this was much more severe than even we imagined…and now came the question of where we should go to avoid the air strike. The professor’s told Shiro and I to go downstairs and clean out the vehicle to make as much room as possible and then start it, and we quickly responded. The professors finished gathering their equipment and joined us in the vehicle…we were going to be heading to the safe house, it was the only choice available to us now.
